Victoria Sam
Victoria is a sophomore, majoring in Public Administration with a minor in Civic Engagement. She is currently the vice president of Food Recovery Network and the vice president and co-founder of the Asian Pacific Islander Association. Tori's passions include work for sexual assault prevention and awareness, immigration issues and feminism.
Sheena Cainglet
Sheena is a sophomore in the Physician Assistant program. Her current placement is Food Recovery Network, an organization that allows students on college campuses to fight food waste and hunger. Besides her passion for poverty alleviation, she is also passionate about health and fitness, which is why she works at Orange Theory. She encourages students to reach out if they have any questions about FRN.
Sohaila Shabaan
Sohaila is a sophomore majoring in Health Science with minors in Civic Engagement and Chemistry. Her Bonner placements are Food Recovery Network and PRPLA (Port Richmond Partnership). Sohaila is now working on a partnership between FRN and Swipe Out Hunger, a program for students to donate their meal swipes. She is also part of the Pre-Dental Club on campus.
James Jones
Jim is a sophomore majoring in Art Administration with a Theater Concentration and a minor in Writing. Jim is currently a WIT tutor at the Writing Center.
Sara Shirazi
Sara is a sophomore, Physician Assistant major. She is currently working with
the Port Richmond Partnership Leadership Academy, where she mentors high school students. In the past, her placement was the Staten Island University Hospital, where she worked in the oncology department. She assisted nurses with retrieving medication and supplies, and had one-on-ones with patients assisting with translation and basic necessities. Sara is passionate about making an impact.
Greyson Riley
Greyson is a sophomore, majoring in Theatre Performance with a minor in Civic Engagement. He is currently part of the Bonner Leadership Team, serving as the Bonner Love Intern. His role is getting Bonners more involved and connected. So far, he has planned a virtual movie night and an escape room event. Greyson is also a part of the Scooter Club.
Mahki Francis
Mahki is a sophomore majoring in Sociology. He was placed with the Port Richmond Partnership, as a mentor. Mahki likes to draw and read whenever he has time.
Lennox Apudo
Lennox is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Mathematics. His placement is Napela, where he offers tutoring sessions (citizenship questions, English lessons) to women and children who are applying for US citizenship tests. In the past, he was placed with the Senior Sunrise Living Center. Lennox enjoys learning different languages and playing soccer.
